Garnett signed a court order allowing an onchain governance vote to transfer the 30,765 frozen ETH from the ArbitrumDAO to a wallet controlled by Aave LLC. The order provides explicit legal cover for participants: any party initiating, voting on, or participating in the transfer is not in violation of the restraining notice served by Gerstein Harrow LLP on May 1st. The restraining notice transfers with the assets. The judge did not rule on the merits of the plaintiffs' claim. The loan carries a variable rate of the Lido staking yield plus 1% APR with up to a 36-month maturity. As collateral, Aave will allocate 5% of protocol revenue and at least $11 million in AAVE tokens to a multisig over which Mantle holds a first-priority lien, and will delegate 130,000 AAVE for governance during the loan. The package is powered by the Open Intents Framework and follows EIP-7683 for cross-chain intent structures, with initial support for Across, Relay, OIF, LiFi, and Bungee. The release is experimental and has not been audited.
