The milestone comes roughly four days after the project's July 20th launch. Activity on the protocol has scaled quickly to over 30,000 NFT purchases. The NFTs are essentially loot boxes, where purchasers chooses between keeping a randomly selected NFT, sell it back to the depositor for most of the ETH backing, or take a payout in FWA tokens. Purchasers pay a pool-derived price to gamble on a randomly selected position. NFT holders deposit an eligible NFT along with ETH backing into the liquidity pool in exchange for a share of fees collected. The ETH backing sets the position's odds of being pulled FWA token emissions run daily for the first 15 days post-launch. Fluid Proposes Institutional DeFi Markets Fluid Foundation and AGI3 Group published a governance proposal seeking to form a strategic partnership to build a permissioned instance of the Fluid protocol coined AGI3 Markets. The instance is designed for institutional capital allocators, including sovereign wealth funds, private banks, family offices, and asset managers. AGI3 is a part of Kinetic Group, a multi-billion-dollar UAE-based asset manager regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority. Fluid founder Samyak Jain says they have been working on this initiative in stealth for the past year. Fidelity Urges Senate To Pass The CLARITY Act Fidelity Investments, which manages $17.9 trillion in assets across 50 million individual investors, has publicly called on the Senate to pass the CLARITY Act, stating the time is now for clear digital asset rules to strengthen investor confidence and reinforce US leadership in global markets. Fidelity launched FIDD, the Fidelity Digital Dollar, a USD-pegged stablecoin issued by Fidelity Digital Assets, an OCC-chartered national trust bank, on Ethereum earlier this year. The endorsement comes as a new draft of the CLARITY Act was released this week. World Foundation Raises $52.5 Million Today marks the World project's 3-year anniversary since launching in 2022. World Foundation raised $52.5 million from Pantera Capital, Bain Capital Crypto, Eightco Holdings, Selini Capital, Susquehanna Crypto, and other strategic investors through a direct purchase of market-priced WLD tokens subject to a one-year lockup. World also announced the launch of Phase 3 of its Simple Plan, a push to take World proof-of-human (PoH) verification into consumer platforms, enterprises, and AI agents.
