# Aave Plans Tokenized Stock Lending

Aave plans to support tokenized stocks on [Aave V4](https://ethdaily.io/aave-v4-tracker), expanding its addressable market into onchain securities lending. Luigi D’Onorio DeMeo, Chief Business Development Officer at Aave Labs, [explained](https://x.com/luigidemeo/status/2070485154967994621) that traditional prime brokers and retail platforms like Robinhood and Charles Schwab capture 50% to 85% of the fees generated by lending out client stocks.

By supplying [tokenized securities](https://ethdaily.io/uniswap-lists-tokenized-securities) directly to decentralized pools, holders will be able to bypass brokers to earn the full market borrowing rates with real-time transparency and dynamic pricing. Founder Stani Kulechov [stated](https://x.com/StaniKulechov/status/2070496589391536138) that Aave is expanding its total addressable market from crypto-native assets to all global financial assets. Under the proposed model, users deposit tokenized shares directly as collateral to borrow stablecoins, or lend them out to generate yield.

The design uses the modular liquidity hubs of Aave V4 to isolate risk terms, applying custom collateral factors and risk premiums unique to each tokenized asset. The expansion builds on Aave's recent focus on RWA integration, connecting decentralized credit pools directly to traditional debt markets.
