The Aragon app now reads and manages these profile records onchain instead of maintaining a separate offchain profile database. Aragon Profiles are portable across governance interfaces and providers, meaning the same identity follows a participant regardless of which app surfaces it. The feature builds on ENS as the underlying identity layer rather than a proprietary database, making profiles readable wherever governance, approvals, and delegation take place. Governance participants can also publish token-specific delegate statements stored as ENS text records using an open, ENS-based record format.
