ENS V2 Is Live On Ethereum
ENSv2 brings a new protocol architecture, updated registration tools and an explorer, with 36 million names already supported.

ENS V2 goes live on Ethereum mainnet. Ondo Stocks launch on Robinhood Chain. The Ethereum app layer calls for cheaper proof generation.
ENS V2 Launches On Ethereum
ENSv2 launched on Ethereum mainnet alongside a redesigned ENS App and a new ENS Explorer. The App updates registration and everyday name management, including renewals, profile customization and notifications. The Explorer lets users inspect a name’s history, controller, resolution and configuration.
At the protocol level, ENSv2 introduces hierarchical registries, more granular permissions and record linking. ENS says the system supports more than 36 million names across .eth and ecosystem namespaces, with 600+ applications supporting name resolution. Existing names continue to work, and .eth names can be upgraded to ENSv2 through the ENS App.
Ondo Stocks Launch On Robinhood Chain
Ondo Stocks can now be bridged from Ethereum and BNB Chain to Robinhood Chain, where 15 tokenized stocks and ETFs are live. Eleven have Uniswap v4 StablePair pools pairing Ondo assets with Robinhood Stock Tokens that reference the same underlying securities. The pools concentrate liquidity near a 1:1 peg and dynamically raise fees as prices drift, allowing liquidity providers to capture more of the value from price corrections while preserving incentives for traders. LPs may earn fees, but returns are not guaranteed.
Ondo Stocks can be minted and redeemed 24/7, while Robinhood Stock Token minting and redemption close on weekends. The pools create another route for traders to source liquidity, swap between tokens tied to the same asset, and potentially access Ondo redemption while Robinhood’s window is closed. Price gaps may create arbitrage opportunities, but neither profit nor convergence is assured. The initial lineup also includes four Ondo assets without corresponding Robinhood tokens: HOODon, FXIon, BMNRon, and CPERon.
Ethereum App Layer Gaps
Ethereum Foundation researcher Charlie St. Louis interviewed six staking and oracle teams about designing for censorship resistance, open source, privacy, and security (CROPS) and Ethereum's upgrade roadmap. He found that FOCIL, which is already scheduled for Hegotá, has the broadest support across teams. He also found that cheaper proof generation and verification is the biggest shared unmet need.
A single EIP or near-term fix that would solve these problems has not been pinned. Staking teams also said ePBS would make some reward diversion detectable but would not verify every execution payment. EIP-7688 could make consensus-state proofs more durable across forks. EIP-8205, which would simplify trust-minimized deposits, had support from Lido and Rocket Pool but was declined for Hegotá.
