# Gnosis Launches GNO Treasury Redemption

*Holders can voluntarily redeem GNO for their pro-rata share of the liquid treasury at approximately $115 per token.*

GnosisDAO [launched](https://x.com/0xWismerhill/status/2073038449767039191) a one-time, opt-in pro-rata treasury redemption program. Any GNO holder cannow voluntarily redeem their GNO tokens for their pro-rata share of the DAO's liquid treasury at a net asset value of approximately $115 per GNO via the official [redemption portal](https://redeem.gno.now/). The eligible circulating supply is set at 1,364,058 GNO, which excludes tokens held by GnosisDAO and Gnosis Ltd. All redeemed GNO tokens will be permanently returned to GnosisDAO and removed from circulation, increasing the pro-rata claim of holders who choose to stay.

The redemption mechanism distributes liquid assets in kind, including ETH, stablecoins, and ecosystem assets like COW, SAFE, and HOPR. ETH and its equivalent staking positions are distributed directly as ETH, while bitcoin, real-world assets, and consolidated long-tail tokens are distributed as stablecoins. Participating holders have a 14-day window to commit their GNO or osGNO using the web application before claiming their shares in kind.
