Privacy Pools V2 Goes Live
Privacy Pools v2 is now live on mainnet, the second iteration of the self-custodial shielded pool protocol that introduces support for private transfers, payment requests, swaps, and yield generation. The private swaps are powered by LI.FI and shielded funds are deposited into Aave for yield. Users can now deposit ETH, USDT, and USDC from Ethereum mainnet, Base, Optimism, Arbitrum, and BNB Chain A minimum deposit of 0.004 ETH is required. Users can also sign-in with their existing wallet.
Privacy Pools screens all deposit addresses for illicit activity using an Association Set Provider operated by 0xbow. The screening is used to prevent association with known malicious addresses. Once a deposit is approved, Privacy Pools uses zero-knowledge proofs to allow users to withdrawal their funds to an address that is unlinked from the their deposit address. Privacy Pools v1, which has processed more than $26 million from 4,000 depositors since March 2025, will remain accessible at v1.privacypools.com
Optimum Launches mump2p On Ethereum
Optimum launched mump2p on Ethereum mainnet, using random linear network coding (RLNC) to speed the movement of block data without changing Ethereum’s consensus rules. RLNC combines data into coded shards, allowing nodes to reconstruct blocks from the pieces they receive. mump2p moves block data two to three times faster on average for 85% to 90% of blocks, a 335-millisecond advantage over standard libp2p across 50,292 slots, and 51% fewer wrong-head votes for one operator.
Optimum’s says about $3.4 billion, or roughly 1.4 million ETH of stake, is being boosted across 16 operators. Signal, a separate services built on mump2p, helps nodes receive beacon blocks sooner, giving validators more time to attest on time and to the correct head. It is free and open to all Ethereum node operators through self-serve onboarding at console.getoptimum.xyz.
DefiLlama Adds Trueo Markets
DefiLlama integrated Trueo prediction markets on its dashboard with market outcomes settled using DefiLlama data. The featured prediction markets cover protocol revenue for spot and perp DEXs as well as total DeFi hack activity and exploits on lending protocols. Users can also trade on the size of the largest hack on weekly and monthly timeframes as well as Robinhood Chain RWA market cap and DEX volume.
DefiLlama will support Trueo as the prediction market migrates its core liquidity and settlement layer from Base to Ethereum mainnet. The mainnet migration anchors Trueo's upgraded dispute resolution oracle, designed to ingest and verify multi-source evidence for contentious market outcomes. The deployment is anticipated by Q1 2027.
