Unruggable Launches ENS Agent Identity Tool

Unruggable's ENS8004.xyz turns any ENS name into a verifiable, discoverable onchain AI agent.

Unruggable launched ENS8004.xyz, a web app that converts an ENS name into an onchain AI agent that other applications can find and verify. The tool combines five emerging standards: ERC-8004 for trustless agents, the Adapter8004 identity adapter, ERC-8217 for agent NFT bindings, ENSIP-25 for AI agent registry verification, and ENSIP-26 for agent text records. The combination lets a name advertise structured metadata, MCP server addresses, and other interfaces that AI systems can read directly.

The flow registers a name in three steps. Users select an ENS name they own, then create an agent identity through Adapter8004's register function, which adds the agent to the ERC-8004 registry contract and issues its ERC-8217 binding in a single transaction. OpenSea also resolves the bindings on the domain's asset page. An optional final step writes ENSIP-26 text records describing the agent and listing its MCP and A2A endpoints.
