Agora Launches Holders Vote Coordination Tool

A token-weighted Reddit-style discussion platform designed for web3 coordination.

Agora Governance head of engineering Jeff McLarty introduced holders.vote, a token-weighted Reddit-style discussion platform. Each community anchors to a single ENS, WEI, GWEI, or HNS name, with voting power drawn from onchain holdings such as native token balances, an ERC-20 token, or an ERC-721 collection. The platform supports Ethereum mainnet,. Optimism, and Base networks.

Posts and comments are scored under three weight modes computed simultaneously: one vote per person, weight by token balance, or weight by delegated voting power for tokens supporting IVotes. The platform aims to serve governance coordination as an immediate use case with potential to also accelerate product-market-fit discovery for token communities.
