Bitwise Premium RWA Vault

Bitwise Asset Management launched PAPY, an ERC-4626 premium real-world asset vault deployed on Morpho on Ethereum mainnet. The vault enables depositors to lend Agora's AUSD stablecoin against overcollateralized tokenized debt, targeting variable returns of 5% to 6% APY uncorrelated with crypto market cycles. The AUSD stablecoin is backed by short-term U.S. Treasuries and repo assets.

Whitelisted collateral includes Huma Finance's PST for short-duration institutional payment financing, sUSDai backed by AI GPUs in a bankruptcy-remote special purpose vehicle, and Hastra's PRIME tokenized warehouse facilities backed by prime home equity in partnership with Figure. As curator, Bitwise sets collateral parameters, loan-to-value limits, and interest-rate models without taking custody of depositor assets.

World Launches ProveKit Identity Tool

World released ProveKit, an open-source zero-knowledge proving toolkit built on Aztec's Noir programming language designed to run client-side credential proofs on mobile hardware. The toolkit powers World ID credentials by allowing users to verify attributes such as passport validity, age, and WebAuthn assertions entirely on their own devices without transmitting private identity data to servers. ProveKit delivers 128-bit post-quantum security with no trusted setup. Proof generation can be completed in under 30 seconds on budget hardware. ProveKit is now available under an open-source license and has undergone an independent security audit by Least Authority.

Peer Launches Peer Pay

Peer launched Peer Pay, a non-custodial checkout product designed for businesses. Peer Pay allows merchants to accept payments directly from consumers using fintech apps including Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, PayPal, Revolut, and Wise. Once a user makes a payment, the merchant receives USDC directly in their wallet on Base. Peer uses off-chain cryptographic proofs to verify P2P transfers against the payment record without exposing account credentials or banking details to the merchant.

The solution eliminates traditional payment processors, with no custody of funds, rolling reserves, or account applications required. Peer has processed over $20 million in stablecoin volume. Peer Pay charges a base fee of 2.95% on fiat and 1% on crypto transactions.
