Trezor Supports Clear Signing
Trezor now supports clear signing on its hardware wallets for transactions across Ethereum and EVM-compatible networks. Built on the ERC-7730 standard, clear signing decodes raw smart contract calldata into human-readable information. Users can verify transaction intents, tokens, transfer amounts, and destination addresses directly on hardware screens.
Clear signing works natively across Trezor Suite, WalletConnect, and Trezor Connect for the Trezor Safe 7, Safe 5, Safe 3, and Model T, while unverified contracts fall back to standard blind-signing warnings. The implementation is part of the Ethereum Foundation's Clear Signing Working Group registry under the Trillion Dollar Security Initiative, which includes industry participants such as Ledger, MetaMask, WalletConnect, and Fireblocks.
Bundesbank Deploys Prividium
The Deutsche Bundesbank, Germany's national central bank, deployed a ZKsync Prividium, an L2 anchored to Ethereum and secured by zero-knowledge proofs, on testnet using its own self-hosted infrastructure. The deployment comes as Matter Labs, the parent company of ZKsync, announced that it is open-sourcing the core permissioning engine that governs roles and access control for the enterprise distributed ledger technology network.
Prividium allows financial institutions to run permissioned chains from public code while keeping smart contracts and token data strictly inside their internal environments. The deployment targets institutional compliance requirements mandating that organizations inspect, run, and modify the core technologies they operate without relying on external vendor dependencies. Matter Labs is collaborating with Bundesbank on developing Prividium's architecture to help regulated entities deploy verifiable onchain systems.
Safe Labs Announces Safe Pro
Safe Labs announced Safe Pro, a new paid operating layer built for teams managing onchain operations and self-custodial treasuries. Safe Pro adds company-wide administration, audit trails, unified activity reporting, and security monitoring across every Safe account an organization runs. Safe Pro is set to launch publicly on October 6, 2026. Existing Safe Workspaces, the legacy organizational dashboard, will migrate into Safe Pro. Existing Workspace teams can claim 60 days of access to Safe Pro without entering payment details between October 6 and December 5, 2026.
Morpho Midnight Goes Live On Ethereum
Morpho launched Midnight, its protocol for fixed rate and fixed term credit markets, on Ethereum mainnet. Midnight provides a predictable term structure with control over rate, risk, maturity, and compliance, enabling long-duration and bespoke positioning for institutions. It allows apps to now offer fixed rate credit products for their users while lenders and borrowers get a locked rate for the life of the loan. The protocol also supports curators for loan terms. Initial markets are now live for USDC loans backed by cbBTC and WBTC collateral.
