Ethrex Launches Privacy Roadmap Testnet
Ethrex rolled out a public testnet running frame transactions, keyed nonces, and FOCIL.

Privacy season is upon us. Ethrex launched a public testnet running core EIPs from Ethereum's privacy roadmap on top of Glamsterdam. The testnet features support for EIP-8141 Frame Transactions alongside EIP-8250 Keyed Nonces, EIP-8272 Recent Roots, EIP-7805 FOCIL inclusion lists, and EIP-8369 VOPS validation profiles. Anyone can now sync, peer, transact, and request funds from the testnet faucet!
The testnet showcases how private transactions can be sent through a privacy pool directly into the public mempool without relayers or trusted intermediaries. The upcoming combination of FOCIL for censorship-resistant inclusion, recent roots for stable proof generation, and keyed nonces for parallel transactions will enable native L1 privacy. These EIPs are proposed for inclusion in the Hegotá upgrade. Ethrex is a lightweight Ethereum execution client built in Rust.
