L2BEAT Launches Ethereum Blobs Page
L2BEAT launched a Blobs page for real-time Ethereum blob activity, showing which projects post blobs, usage against the network target, and per-slot data from the previous 24 hours. A blob is a temporary data packet (Type 3 transaction) used by L2 networks for data availability. Blobs provide temporary storage and a gas market independent of Ethereum L1, which enables low-cost transactions for rollups.
The new Blobs page replaces DABEAT, which L2BEAT is sunsetting as it stops assessing alternative data-availability (alt-DA) layers like EigenDA and Celestia. Of 38 projects using AltDA, only Celo, Lens, and Sophon verify attestations on Ethereum. L2BEAT says Ethereum still has unused blob capacity with PeerDAS to expand capacity further. L2BEAT will outline what Ethereum contracts can enforce: whether a project integrates a data-availability verifier, who controls its upgrades, and who can relay attestations.
Armada Takes Protocol Guild Pledge
Armada, a privacy protocol on Ethereum, pledged 1% of its ARM token supply to the Protocol Guild to support Ethereum core contributors. Armada joins Aztec, EtherFi, Puffer Finance, and Aligned, in taking the pledge. The tokens are deposited into the Protocol Guild's immutable vesting contract that fund nearly 200 core developers. This donation is revenue-locked and will only unlock as Armada hits usage milestones.
Armada is designed for stablecoin privacy and is built around a shared shielded pool on Ethereum mainnet with other chains connected through CCTP. The protocol aims to provide privacy for payroll, vendor payments, and treasury flows. Protocol Guild has distributed more than $38 million to core contributors since forming in 2022.
Grow Introduces Stock-Backed Credit

Users can receive and repay loans in their local currency, with more than 20 local currencies supported. Loans are backed by pledged stocks and denominated in U.S. dollars, with flexible repayment as long as collateral remains sufficient, Currency-conversion fees and exchange-rate movements can also affect borrowing and repayment costs. The app aims to bring DeFi access to the last mile in underserved locations,
Bitmine Crosses 6 Million ETH
Bitmine Immersion Technologies crossed 6 million ETH in holdings, valued at approximately $15.1 billion at current prices. Bitmine is the largest Ethereum treasury in the world and holds 4.9% of the total ETH supply, putting the company 99% of the way toward its stated goal of acquiring 5% of all ETH in circulation.
Of the 6 million ETH held, 5 million ETH, roughly 84% of its total holdings, is currently staked, generating annualized staking revenues of $400 million at a yield of 2.6%. The staking operations run through MAVAN, Bitmine's institutional-grade validator network, which the company launched and plans to open to external institutional investors.
