EthPandaOps announced Plataberget, the first short-lived public testnet designed specifically for Glamsterdam, Ethereum's next network upgrade. Plataberget includes about 10 EIPs scoped for Glamsterdam, including ePBS, Block-Level Access Lists, and an increase to the maximum contract size. The testnet is designed for application developers, tooling providers, and stakers to test Glamsterdam changes ahead of mainnet deployment. A launch date for Plataberget will be determined during Monday's ACDT call. Glamsterdam deployments on Sepolia and Hoodi are anticipated to follow in September, followed by mainnet in Q4 2026.
