Privacy Pools added payroll functionality on the testnet version of its v2 protocol, letting teams run recurring onchain compensation without exposing salary amounts or recipient addresses on public block explorers. Companies can add team members' names, addresses, tokens, and salary figures under a "team" tab, then execute payments as private transfers within the shielded pool; the tool logs past runs, exports history for accounting, and surfaces a dashboard of payroll activity.
The feature is live now on the Sepolia testnet. Privacy Pools uses zero-knowledge proofs and commitment schemes to break the onchain link between a user's deposit and withdrawal addresses. The protocol currently holds roughly $8 million in total value locked, mostly on Ethereum mainnet.
