Revoke.cash, a leading interface for revoking token approvals, introduced Auto-Revoking as part of a new Revoke Ultimate paid subscription tier. The feature adds automated protection against malicious token approvals, eliminating the need to to manually check and revoke token approvals after learning of an exploit.
Auto-Revoking works through MetaMask's implementation of the ERC-7715 permission standard. Users can grant Revoke.cash a scoped permission that can only revoke approvals. It cannot approve tokens, move funds or sign messages, and it can be withdrawn at any time. From there, users configure two rule types: risky approval detection, which flags and revokes approvals tied to exploited or risky contracts at a sensitivity level the user sets, and stale approval cleanup, which removes approvals older than a chosen threshold (180 days by default).
Once configured, Revoke.cash monitors approvals continuously and revokes matches automatically, prioritizing affected wallets as soon as new exploits are identified rather than waiting for users to act. Gas costs are also covered by a monthly budget included in the paid subscription. The feature currently supports 10 networks, with more networks and wallets planned.
