Safe launched Workspace, an onchain operating environment that gives treasury teams a shared home inside Safe. Workspace bundles four capabilities into one experience. A teams-first dashboard surfaces an organization's Safes, pending transactions across all of them, team members and their roles, and a shared address book in a single view, removing the need to switch between Safes to track activity. A Security Hub consolidates signers, threshold configuration, guards, recovery options, and Safe version into one editable tab, flagging weak configurations such as a low threshold or missing recovery option for direct resolution.
The release adds passwordless email login alongside the existing wallet-based SIWE flow. Team members can sign in with a one-time passcode or Google OAuth, letting a CFO, operations lead, or compliance officer view balances, track pending transactions, manage contacts, and coordinate approvals without installing a browser extension or holding a key. Email login extends who can participate but does not replace wallet signing. A shared address book rounds out the launch, living at the organization level so payroll recipients, protocol contracts, and exchange wallets are added once and available to every team member.
Safe is the largest smart wallet provider, securing more than $100 billion in onchain assets for organizations including Aave, ENS, and 1inch. Existing teams can create a Workspace, invite members by email, and link existing Safes with no migration required.
