pcaversaccio (PC), a longtime Ethereum security contributor and co-founder of SEAL 911, has joined the Ethereum Foundation Board for an initial one-year term. PC brings a deep security and cypherpunk perspective to the board. He co-founded SEAL 911, the ecosystem's emergency security response service, has been a member of the EF's Silviculture Society, an informal advisory body focused on sustaining CROPS values, and authored The Ethereum Cypherpunk Manifesto (2024) and Ethereum Privacy: The Road to Self-Sovereignty (2025).

The EF Board now has four members: Aya Miyaguchi as President, Vitalik Buterin as Founder, Patrick Storchenegger as Swiss counsel, and now pcaversaccio. Per the EF Mandate published earlier this year, the board sets the vision for the foundation and oversees management decisions, ensuring they align with the Foundation's values, acting as a security council for EF's core principles and Swiss foundation compliance.

The addition of a security and privacy specialist to the board reflects the EF's stated shift toward Censorship Resistance, Open Source, Privacy, and Security. as its organizing principle.
