Trueo Expands Prediction Markets To Ethereum

Prediction market protocol Trueo announced plans to deploy to Ethereum mainnet, shifting its core liquidity and settlement layer from Base where it originally launched in March 2025. Trueo cites Ethereum's deep liquidity pools, neutral network effects, and direct adjacency to major DeFi primitives as key drivers for the move. The team noted that Ethereum L1 remains relatively uncrowded despite holding the majority of onchain capital. The protocol's native TRUE token will also transition to Ethereum.

Vitalik Buterin commended the deployment, highlighting Trueo as a dedicated decentralized contender on L1 focused on building credible economic primitives. The mainnet migration anchors Trueo's upgraded dispute resolution oracle, designed to ingest and verify multi-source evidence for contentious market outcomes. Trueo's existing Base deployment will remain operational. Users are advised to deploy markets expiring after January 31, 2027 directly onto the Ethereum deployment.

ZisK Releases v1.3.0-alpha With BLAKE3

ZisK, an open-source RISC-V zero-knowledge virtual machine designed for real-time proving and sub-second rollup scaling, released v1.3.0-alpha. The new release replaces arithmetic-friendly Poseidon hashes with BLAKE3 across its recursive proving pipeline, providing 128-bit provable security alongside post-quantum resistance. In benchmarks, the prover generated 99.9% of proofs in 7.43 seconds on four Nvidia RTX 5090 GPUs and 5.14 seconds on eight, well under Ethereum's 12-second slot time.

The release adds BabyJubJub, BLAKE3f, and BLAKE2s cryptographic precompiles to reduce overhead on common mathematical operations. It also overhauls GPU proof scheduling through pipelined completion rings and trace prefetching, activates native RISC-V Zba address generation, packs multiple execution steps per trace row, and resolves soundness checks in recursive proof verification.

cp0x Awarded EF Grant For DeFi Risk Aggregator

Research and development organization cp0x received an Ethereum Foundation grant to develop defi-dna, an open-source, neutral DeFi risk data aggregator for Ethereum mainnet protocols. The dashboard displays data from independent risk assessment feeds, currently including DeFiScan, Risklayer, and Philidor, side by side with source links and publication timestamps. Independent TVL and incident metrics are supplied via DefiLlama.

The project operates strictly as a neutral aggregator and does not produce proprietary risk scores, composite ratings, or rankings. Because different risk models evaluate distinct vectors, feed values remain unmerged across an interactive matrix that maps individual protocol versions against contributing risk feeds. The project runs automated snapshot pipelines twice daily to update data without requiring frontend rebuilds.

Community Proposes Balancer Fork And Reincarnation

A community proposal to fork and reincarnate Balancer has been published on the governance forum, arriving alongside a separate wind-down proposal that would dissolve the protocol entirely. The fork initiative aims to preserve Balancer's core weighted-pool and boosted-pool technology, positioning it for the next wave of real-world and onchain assets regardless of whether the wind-down vote passes. The move signals a critical juncture for one of DeFi's longest-running AMMs, with the outcome directly affecting liquidity infrastructure relied upon by dozens of protocols across the Ethereum ecosystem.
