World ID 4.0 Extends To AI Agents

World ID 4.0 expands proof-of-human credentials across consumer apps, enterprises, and AI agents.

World, the digital identity protocol co-founded by Sam Altman, released its World ID 4.0 upgrade, expanding its "proof of human" credentials across consumer apps, enterprises, and AI agents. The update introduces a new World ID app, currently in beta, allowing users to manage credentials and interact across platforms. World ID for AI agents links AI agents to a verified human.

The upgrade also adds enterprise-ready features like multi-key support, key rotation, recovery, and session management, along with "human continuity," which verifies that the same real person is present across interactions. World also launched Concert Kit, a tool designed to ensure concert tickets go to real verified fans. To date, World has issued over 18 million Orb-verified credentials.
