Lubin Outlines Bridge-Less Composability

Consensys founder Joseph Lubin said Ethereum is getting close to achieving synchronous composability, a mechanism that allows a smart contract to call a contract on another chain and receive the result within the same transaction. The solution ensures that transactions either fully succeed or fully revert across multiple chains. Lubin emphasized that scaling utility through shared atomic execution will accelerate transaction volumes and subsequent gas burning. The architecture relies on zero-knowledge proofs of transactions across different networks.

Uniswap Web App Supports Auctions

Uniswap Labs launched integrated support for launching Continuous Clearing Auctions (CCA) directly from the Uniswap Web App. Teams can now configure and launch token auctions in the user interface, removing the need to deploy smart contracts manually. The release supports importing an existing token, mint a new token, setting auction parameters, and customizing post-auction pool structures. Once launched, auctions are immediately accessible to buyers through the Web App explore page.

Taiko Pledges Full User Compensation

Taiko pledged to ensure that no users will lose funds following the June 21st security compromise of its chain state verification mechanism. The team revealed that the bridged assets are currently undercollateralized, but pledged to fully recollateralize the bridge before it reopens, ensuring all user balances are backed 1:1. Taiko’s CEO has filed an official report with Singapore authorities to pursue the exploiters.
